i wish i had the ability to make DVD's because i think a DVD mix-cd of sorts with one song of live sets from lots of different bands playing at 99 or 29 would be really awesome to go along with the zine. Anyone want to take this on?

I can edit standard definition video on my computer. But HD won't work.

I'm going to do a test run of my computer first, as I have not done any editing on it in awhile, since all my video is now HD. My mac is slow on the internet, but I'm pretty sure Final Cut is still working well. If all is running fine, I will accept videos. Mini DV is preferred. I have a mono Hi-8 camera and can transfer that through the mini DV. But it will only pick up one channel if it was recorded in stereo. The DVD will still play out of both speakers, but in mono. VHS can be done too, but the difference in format will be noticeable.

I'm not sure what I'm editing on yet, but I can make this happen. Either give me videos in person or send them to:

I would like to get a copy of Premiere or Vegas that would work with HD video, but nothing I've downloaded will work correctly. And I don't have hundreds of dollars burning a hole in my pocket.

Here's a few shots of Robot Has Werewolf Hand playing 99 (not sure of show, Foster might, because I think it was the one when he was getting electrocuted) for the brief period in which we seemed to be the house band (blame Dave's rugby buddies):

I always try to make an effort to tell people about how important Custer shows are. If i never went to Custer shows, or Sugar City..I would have never opened 73 (even though we don't even compare in any way to either). The scene in Buffalo is a very big driving force for people like myself.

I always wish I live in Buffalo to be able to always access these shows. 90% of these posts reassure me of that wish. I rarely ever make it to buffalo cause I don't drive, so its always around other peoples schedules.

regardless..Custer/Buffalo shows rule.

that Defiance, Ohio show...that was at 29? is probably one of my fav. shows I have ever been to.

i just thought of an awesome idea! someone should draw a map of each floor of 29 and 99 and number/letter/label each room and we can include the list of people who lived at each house and note which room they live in and approximate time they lived there
