Anybody care? Sportscenter anchors were damned near frothing in anticipation of the press conference. The only people I've found who care are old white golfers. Even younger golfers don't give a shit. I watched and wish I had that time back. Why doesn't someone just come out of the gates with a press conference admitting they did things because they wanted to, enjoyed it, and are only being pushed to apologize because they were caught (and the media and bored public enjoys few things more than tearing down someone on a pedestal). I'm not a golf person, but, if you are, do you think this really impacts the sport?

i enjoy golf but havent played consistently in a few years. i would love if he came clean and laid it out like it is. dude fucked up, i don't care. i wish the press conference was simply this.

I'm so tired of hearing about Tiger Woods, would this have even come out or would he have even had to give a press conference if this happened 30 years ago? Ever hear of Wilt Chamberlain? Magic Johnson? Mickey Mantle? Babe Ruth? Joe Namath? I don't recall any of those notorious poon slayers giving any apologetic press conferences (well I remember Magic's but that's different) ... The modern media is so annoying, who cares?
